Can I connect a light or other devices to the battery? Is a light cable already installed on the bike?
Yes, you can. Please contact your dealer for this. However, a light cable is not pre-installed.

Can the battery be removed?
No, the battery is integrated into the downtube and cannot simply be removed. If the battery needs to be taken out, the motor must be removed first. It is best to contact your nearest FOCUS dealer for this.

Can I swap the battery for a smaller/larger one?
No, this is not possible.

Can I connect my smartphone to the bike?
Yes, you can connect your smartphone via the FAZUA App. In the FAZUA App, you can change your support mode settings and download new profiles.

How far can I ride with the VAM² SL?
There is no definitive answer. Various factors affect the range: your weight, your equipment, tire pressure, the terrain you are riding on, which mode you use, and even the outside temperature influence battery life.

Can I tune my e-bike?
No, this is not possible, and even if it were, we would not recommend it.

Can I ride the VAM² SL without a battery?
Since the battery is fixed in the downtube of the VAM² SL, technically you cannot ride without it. However, you can ride with an empty battery. You will not experience noticeable pedaling resistance. The only thing you will feel is the extra weight compared to the Pure Bike due to the motor and battery.

Can I ride the VAM² SL only with a Range Extender?
No, this is not possible due to the battery being permanently installed in the downtube.

Can I add a second battery or a Range Extender?
You cannot install a second battery. A Range Extender, which FAZUA plans to release in the future, can be added. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you when it will be available.

How much does the battery weigh?
The MY24 battery weighs 2.2 kg.

Where is the charging port to charge the VAM² SL?
The VAM² SL can be charged via a charging port on the seat tube.
